Why I started Bison Bridge Behavioral Insights

Starting Bison Bridge was not a sudden decision. It grew out of years of sitting across from parents who felt lost, educators who felt overwhelmed, and students who were misunderstood.

As a school psychologist, professor, and now therapist, I began to see a pattern. Too often, systems worked in isolation. Families were left out of decisions. Teachers lacked mental health support. Students were expected to manage complex needs without a roadmap.

Bison Bridge Behavioral Insights was created to bring those systems together. I wanted to build a space where families, schools, and mental health professionals did not just coexist but collaborated.

We support parents who need guidance navigating the special education system, schools looking for thoughtful evaluation and training, and clinicians seeking deeper insight into school-based processes. Whether through IEP advocacy, independent educational evaluations, or behavioral consultation, we tailor our work to build trust, clarity, and lasting impact.

Our mission is to help students succeed by equipping the trusted adults around them with insight, advocacy, and practical tools that make a difference.

Every student deserves a team that understands their whole story. That is what we work toward every day at Bison Bridge.
